The Dirty Circle. The title alone stirs up much intriguing mystery, and the content follows suit. Author, Quashon Davis held a book release event on Saturday, May 31, 2014 for his highly awaited second novel, “The Dirty Circle”.  Located in the spacious “Loft” in Montclair, NJ guests arrived in style and walked the red carpet in support of Davis.

Juicy Dolls Magazine owner Vanessa Jasey, who kept the crowd alive with her bubbly antics, hosted the event. Complimentary food and drinks were served allowing the audience to network and build contacts. Books and raffles were available for purchase with a grand prize pair of Beats by Dre.  Red velvet dessert was served in the silhouette of Davis’ book baked by “Delightful Cake Kreations”.  Photographers kept the flashes going and DJ Luv kept the turntables spinning all night with 90’s classics.  As Davis provided signature after signature, it was apparent that hard work definitely pays off. Smiles, laughter and inspiration filled the loft that evening.

The Dirty Circle, following his first novel Masquerade, although not a sequel is just as much a page-turner. The tale of a circle of friends and the level of distrust involved is enough to keep you wanting more. The event also served as a fundraiser to support the movie as well as Davis’ soaring writing career. As if the excitement of the novel wasn’t enough, Davis spilled the beans and announced the movie trailer written by him and directed by Jamal Hall. The film features some of Jersey’s finest talent including Muju Thompson and Prentiss Thompson.  For two minutes the audience stood and watched, captivated by what’s to come. With an anticipated release date of late 2015, the pressure is on.
